Project Description:

Englewood Studios is a project of CORPORACIÓN DE DESARROLLO COMUNITARIO DE ENGLEWOOD with funding from the City of Indianapolis. The project consists of a 3-story apartment building located at 200 N. Rural Street containing 19 studio apartment units and common areas. All units are new construction and include associated site work and existing structure demolition.

You do not have to bid on the entire bid package or scope to be eligible – partial bids for a portion of the work scope will be accepted. Please reach out to the contact below further information on bidding on a portion of the homes.

Bid Requirements:

This project is NOT taxable. This project IS subject to Davis Bacon Wages.

XBE/Section 3 Goals

It is the goal of the owner, Englewood CDC, and Grand Contracting to work with the MBE/WBE/VBE/DOBE and Section 3 community and open up the opportunity to be a part of this project. Please note the requirements for Section 3 participation in documents provided.

This job is a Section 3 eligible job opportunity. We encourage applications from individuals that are low-income and/or live in public housing and/or receive a Section 8 voucher.

Bid submissions MUST include completed Section 3 Worker and Section 3 Business forms, included in documents provided that denote how many Section 3 workers and hours you would see working on this project.

Englewood Studios – Bid Documents

Please note: This Agreement does not constitute a commitment of funds or site approval, and the commitment of funds or approval may occur only upon satisfactory completion of environmental review and receipt by the participating jurisdiction of an approval of the request for release of funds and certification from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development under 24 CFR Part 58. The provision of any funds to the project is conditioned on the participating jurisdiction, determination to proceed with, modify or cancel the project based on the results of the environmental review. Pursuant to §92.502(b)(1), a Responsible Entity (PJ or State recipient) must have completed the environmental review requirements under 24 CFR Part 58 and obtained approval of the release of funds prior to setting up a specific local project in IDIS.
