Parker Place Senior Apartments provides crucial housing to some of the most vulnerable populations in Indianapolis. It is the second phase of the Oxford Place Senior Apartment project. The two buildings are connected through a one-story commercial kitchen and dining room, providing residents from both buildings the opportunity to come together and socialize. This development was included in the vision for the neighborhood through the Great Places 2020 Plan as one of three buildings envisioned for the former Crown Laundry site south of Washington Street. This development also serves seniors (55+) in the neighborhood and includes permanent supportive housing units for seniors who have been formerly or chronically homeless.
